Hereby the Final version of the link management module imLinks 1.01.
This version of imLinks contains mainly fixes for version 1.00.
An option to open links in a Lightwindow or Greybox has been added to this version too.

Installation

1. Upload the module to your website.

Upload the folders 'libraries/greybox', 'modules/imlinks' and 'uploads/images' to your {icms-rootdirectory}.

If you want to rename the folder 'modules/imlinks' in for example 'modules/links' you have to do so before you continue with the installation.

2. Change and verify folder permissions

CHMOD the following folders to 777:

{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images
{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images/category
{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images/category/thumbs
{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images/flags
{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images/flags/flags_small
{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images/screenshots
{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images/screenshots/thumbs
{icms-rootdirectory}/uploads/images/thumbs

3. Install the module

Login as administrator and enter the ImpressCMS Control Panel (administration).
Select Modules and install imLinks.

4. Configure the module

Most important step now will be to setup the group permissions for the module and its blocks via Blocks.

5. Upgrading

If you're upgrading from a previous version of imLinks go to the Module Administration and update imLinks. This step is important for version 1.01 because this will make some modifications to the database.

Plugins for Sitemap and Waiting module

Plugins for the modules Sitemap and Waiting are included.
You can download these modules from Gijoe's website: http://xoops.peak.ne.jp/

In case the name of the installation folder of imLinks has been changed the plugins have to be modified.
Open the plugin(s) in a text editor and in the 2 lines as shown below you have to replace 'imlinks' with the name given to the folder:



imGlossary

To have words linked to imGlossary this module has to be installed.
You can download the latest version from the ImpressCMS Addons website.

Tags

To use the tag feature with imLinks your installation needs the following:
• Frameworks library installed (http://addons.impresscms.org/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?lid=170)
• Xoops Tag module installed and active, for example version 1.6. (http://addons.impresscms.org/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=8&lid=1333)

Make sure that you use versions for Xoops 2.0.18 and not for Xoops 2.3!
If the Tag module is installed and active, an extra form for entering the tags will be visible in the submit forms.
For users the tag form can be enabled/disabled from the Preferences, for admins this form will always be visible.
